Baosteel Gases Has Successfully Put into Commission the Qujing Air Separation Project, and Will Construct Another 12000Nm³/h High-purity Nitrogen Generator
2021-08-15

Recently, Baosteel Gases' air separation project in Qujing, the second largest city in Yunnan, was successfully constructed and put into commission. The project was jointly established by Shanghai Baosteel Gases and Qujing Defang Nano Technology in 2018. It will provide Qujing Defang Nano and other customers in the industrial park with high-quality pipeline nitrogen to help in the production of new green energy materials. At the same time, with a liquid production capacity of 250TPD, it can also meet the needs of the surrounding liquid market.

From August 2020 to June 2021, the entire project has been rapidly constructed, steadily commissioned, delivered with high quality, and has zero safety incidents, once again demonstrating the engineering strength of Baosteel Gases.

Baosteel Gases will once again join hands with Defang Nano to invest in, build, and operate a 12,000 Nm³/h high-purity nitrogen generator to serve the production base project of Defang Nano and Huizhou Yiwei Lithium Energy, which has an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons of lithium iron phosphate. This will facilitate the development of new energy batteries.
