Yingde Gases Group Strives to Build the Largest Krypton-Xenon Gas Purification Plant in the Asia-Pacific Region
2022-02-11

Recently, Yingde Gases Group announced their "Xenon Leader" plan and their continuous efforts to expand krypton-xenon production capacity.

The "Xenon Leader" plan will involve the stage-based construction of two krypton-xenon gas purification plants. Upon completion, the first plant could be the largest standalone krypton-xenon purification plant in the Asia-Pacific region, which would mark an important milestone in the field of rare gases.

Besides being indispensable components in electronic semiconductor manufacturing processes, krypton and xenon gases also have special applications in the fields of aerospace propulsion and space exploration. After the purification plant is constructed, it will help to alleviate the growing demand generated from applications in the fields of chip manufacturing, space propulsion, and dark matter research. This will address crucial raw material issues while continuously improving business value.

Yingde Gases is committed to using innovative and sustainable gasification solutions to benefit society. By integrating its strengths, the company hopes to empower the electronic semiconductor industry using krypton and xenon as a starting point. Through performing innovations in technology, services, and business models, the company hopes to support China's exploratory plans in the fields of outer space and dark matter.

Currently, Yingde Gases has two krypton-xenon purification plants in Rizhao and Jiangdu. The krypton and xenon gases produced from these plants have been supplied to many well-known semiconductor and chip companies at home and abroad such as Kioxia Electronics and TSMC.
